View lecturer analytics for a course offering

Use the Course Offering Analytics tab to review engagement, submissions, review throughput, student risk, and activity effectiveness.

Last reviewed: 28 August 2026

Before you begin

  • Your institution must have Practical Learning available.
  • You need an active Teaching Assignment (or offering administration access) for the Course Offering.
  • Open Institution Workspace → Course Offerings → [offering] → Analytics.

What you can see

The Analytics tab shows offering-level metrics derived from Course Offering records:

  1. Engagement and completion — how many active students are engaged and average completion.
  2. Submissions — counts of student evidence by status.
  3. Review throughput — pending reviews and average turnaround once feedback is published.
  4. Student risk — attention signals aligned with Progress monitoring (overdue, inactive, missing submissions, and similar).
  5. Activity effectiveness — start, submission, and acceptance rates for each published Activity Instance.

These metrics are computed when you open the page. They do not replace Progress records or grades.

Filter by Class Group

If the offering has Class Groups, use the Class Group filter and select Apply. When your Teaching Assignment is limited to one Class Group, analytics stay within that group.

Export CSV

  1. Open the Analytics tab.
  2. Optionally apply a Class Group filter.
  3. Select Export CSV.

The download includes summary metrics and per-activity effectiveness rows. Exports are audited.
