1. Platform Ownership

AppliedMode and its licensors own all rights in the Platform, including software, user interface designs, documentation, trademarks, and proprietary technology. No ownership rights are transferred to users except the limited right to access and use the Platform in accordance with applicable agreements.

2. Institution-Owned Content

Educational institutions retain ownership of their educational materials, curricula, policies, branding assets, and other content they upload or manage within their workspace, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Instructor Content

Instructors generally retain ownership of original teaching materials they create, subject to institutional employment agreements, intellectual property policies, and any licences granted to the institution.

4. Student Submissions

Students retain ownership of their original submissions, assignments, and creative work, subject to institutional academic policies and any licences granted for assessment, accreditation, or academic integrity purposes.

5. Licence to Operate the Platform

By uploading or submitting content, authorised users grant AppliedMode and the relevant institution a non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, display, and process that content solely as necessary to provide, secure, and support the Platform.

6. Respect for Third-Party Rights

Users must not upload material that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. Institutions are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate rights to distribute materials through the Platform.

Copyright concerns may be reported to legal@appliedmode.com with sufficient detail to identify the material and the rights claimed.
