Before you begin

You need an active enrolment in the Course Offering. Your institution must enable Practical Learning, Learning Experience, and Assessments.

Open the course from Institution Workspace, then use Learning Experience.

Find assessments

  1. Open Learning Experience for your Course Offering.
  2. In the Work group, open Assessments.
  3. Check each item’s status:
    • Upcoming — not open yet (locked).
    • Available — you can start.
    • In progress — you have started and can continue.
    • Submitted — waiting for marking or release.
    • Graded — marks or feedback are available.
    • Closed — you can no longer start.

Sit a quiz, test, or exam

  1. On an Available assessment, choose Start assessment.
  2. Answer each multiple-choice or short-answer question.
  3. Choose Submit assessment.
  4. Your score appears when the lecturer’s release setting allows (after submit, after close, or when they release marks).

Submit an assignment

  1. On an Available assignment, choose Start assessment.
  2. Open My work to upload your file or enter text evidence, then submit.
  3. Wait for your lecturer to mark and release feedback.

Tips

  • Reconnect if you see the offline note before starting timed work.
  • Do not use marketplace or older exam links for institution assessments — stay in Learning Experience Assessments.
