Review Research Laboratory student progress

Before you begin

• Domain Laboratories are enabled for your institution.
• The Research Laboratory is attached and enabled on the course offering.
• You can manage Domain Laboratories for that offering.
• Optional: on Configure, turn on topic / ethics / final review gates and compiled report export.

Steps

1. Open the course offering workspace.
2. Go to Labs (Domain Laboratories) and open the Research Laboratory attachment.
3. Choose View student progress.
4. Review the matrix: learner name, topic title, studios completed, and status for Studios 1–11 (S01–S11).
5. Open a studio cell to preview the student’s work.
6. If the studio is waiting for review, choose Approve or Needs revision, add feedback when requesting revision, then Save decision.
7. When compiled export is enabled, use PDF / DOCX on the matrix row (or on the preview page) to download the assembled report.

Notes

• Progress appears after a student launches the Research Laboratory.
• Gated studios (topic, ethics, final submit) only unlock the next step after you approve.
• Grade release into Academic assessments is not part of this laboratory workflow.
