Join a course with a link or join code

Before you begin

You need a share course link or join code from your lecturer or institution administrator. You may also need an institution membership depending on your institution’s rules.

Joining creates (or requests) an Academic Enrolment. The invitation itself is not your course access.

Join with a link

1. Open the link you received.
2. Review the course name and invitation status (active, expired, full, or revoked).
3. Sign in if asked.
4. Choose Join course.

Join with a code

1. Open the join code page (or use the link your lecturer shared to that page).
2. Enter the join code exactly as given.
3. Sign in if asked.
4. Confirm Join course.

Create an account from a join link

If you do not already have an AppliedMode account and the invitation allows new sign-ups:

1. Open the share course link (or join-code page) and choose to create an account.
2. Enter your name, email, phone, and a password.
3. After you join, check your email for a welcome message confirming your account and course.

Use the same email and password to sign in again later.

After you join

• If joining is approved automatically, the course appears under your learning list.
• If approval is required, wait for your institution to activate the enrolment — you will see a pending message.
• If you are already enrolled, AppliedMode confirms that without creating a second enrolment.
• New accounts created from a join link receive a welcome email (it does not include your password).

If the invitation is expired, full, or revoked, ask your lecturer for a new link or code.
