Give Course Feedback to your lecturer
Respond to a Course Feedback form your lecturer has opened — your answers are anonymous and help improve the course.
Before you begin
- Your lecturer decides when to open a Course Feedback form for a course offering you are enrolled in — you cannot open one yourself.
- You can respond to each open form once. After you submit, you cannot edit or resubmit your answers.
Respond to a feedback request
- When your lecturer opens a form, you receive an announcement, an in-app notification, and an email — open any of these to go straight to the form, or open My Learning, choose the course, and open Course Feedback.
- Answer each question. Rating questions ask you to score on a scale, yes/no questions ask a simple yes or no, and open text questions let you write in your own words.
- Required questions must be answered before you can submit.
- Choose Submit to send your response.
About anonymity
- Your response is anonymous to your lecturer — nothing you submit is shown next to your name, and lecturers only ever see aggregated results (averages, counts, and a list of comments with no names attached).
- Your enrolment is used only internally, so the system can stop you from responding to the same form twice — it is never shown to your lecturer or anyone at your institution.
Tips
- Be specific and constructive — comments like "the weekly lab scenario was unclear" or "the practical studio helped me apply the theory" are more useful than "make it better."
- Mention particular labs, studios, or activities by name when you can. That helps your lecturer and AppliedMode see which practical work is landing.
- Your feedback may also be used, in anonymised and aggregated form, to help AppliedMode understand how courses and laboratories are going across institutions.
