Follow Course Offering updates
Find announcements, in-app notifications, and the Course Offering activity history without confusing them.
Before you begin
Your institution must enable Practical Learning for you. You need an active Academic Enrolment (students) or Teaching Assignment (teaching staff) on the Course Offering.
Three separate places
- Announcements — messages posted for the Course Offering. Open the offering workspace, then Announcements.
- Notifications — personal alerts about practical-learning events (for example activity published or feedback available). These are delivered to you when the feature is enabled; they are not the same records as announcements.
- Activity — a Course Offering history of recent practical-learning updates. Open the offering workspace, then Activity.
Steps
- Sign in and open your Institution Workspace.
- Open the Course Offering.
- Use Announcements for posted messages, Activity for offering history, and your notification inbox for personal alerts.
Notes
- Students see Activity entries relevant to their Academic Enrolment.
- Teaching staff see Activity for offerings covered by their Teaching Assignment.
- If Practical Learning is disabled, these surfaces are unavailable.
